When founding HLC Aviation from the parent company, finding a name was the first major challenge. The first two letters "H" and "L" were meant to establish a connection to the former parent company. The "C" embodied the then product spectrum "Consumables". Unfortunately and fortunately at the same time, we developed far beyond the portfolio of consumable materials in the first few years. As a result, we couldn't answer the question "What does HLC mean?" with such confidence. In between, adjectives like "cool", "clever" and "charming" were used with a wink as an explanation. Meanwhile, it actually fits again. After all, we take care of C-parts daily. So it only gets complicated again when we deliver complete components for aviation.
