The range of degree programs includes courses in psychology, pedagogy & social sciences, business, media & communication, technology, and sports & health – at nine locations across Germany (Bielefeld, Düren, Frechen, Cologne, Hannover, Rostock, Berlin, Bamberg, Waldshut) as well as location-independent through FHM Online-University. The shareholder is the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk from Paderborn.

Fun Fact

FHM was the first university in Germany to establish – already in 2016 – an endowed professorship for the appropriately matching degree program Vegan Food Management. The program is still in the curriculum today. The B.A. Vegan Food Management can be studied at FHM through distance learning or on-site at the Berlin location and takes 36 months. Content includes nutrition science, nutritional medicine, and animal ethics. Students also learn about the value creation process of vegan products, consumer behavior of different target groups, and the field of ethical and sustainable corporate management. Legal framework conditions for later activities in the food industry are also taught.
